We are trying to locate Kollonne Jaywathi and her family ( daughters Thavika (15) and Maheshika (11) and son Deeshan (13)). She has been selling clothes at the Bentota Beach in front of Bentota Beach Hotel since years. The family is living in Moddewela, Bentota.

Have you tried to send a mail to Bentota Beach Hotel Bentota bbh@keells.com or phone/fax on 009434-2275176-7,009434-2270524, FAX 009434-2275179?
Mail/Fax is probably the best, does not block phone lines.

thanks for the tip. I already thought about this possibility, but wasn't quite sure. I already sent an email to the hotel and will also activated friends in Colombo.
Do you know by any chance, how the Beach in Bentota got affected?

Bentota is not as badly effected as other places but that is relative...
Quite a few places can be contacted, so keep trying.

| The manager of the Bentota Beach Hotel informed me, that as to his knowledge no one of the sales people at the beach got hit by the Tsunami wave. I assume, that Kollonnes family lost their house. Do you have any contacts to the Bentota area, who might can help me to locate her and her family? |
