We are very grateful for the e-mails sent thinking about us, the Sri Lankan people and our beautiful county at our hour of need with such wonderful words of sympathies and encouragement. We greatly appreciate it.
As a precautionary measure we evacuated all our guests from Neptune Hotel to safety on Sunday 27th December and housed them in Colombo in two facilities. We provided emergency bedding, medicine and food and beverages to the best of our ability and looked after them with a team of dedicated staff from the hotels and head office. No casualty of guests nor staff were reported.
All the ground floor rooms of the hotel including all support services were affected. All bungalows were damaged. We will commence operating 60 rooms from 1st February with all support services including beach and pool.
