|
|
Hi guys,
I have put up the stats for yesterdays eventful match.
As we scurried off to the CR&FC there was naturally no time to ask the opposition for their view on MoM so that will be omitted from the stats this time.
However who got MoM by our reckoning as I rushed off last night to watch the mighty Reds and didn't hear the result?
Anyway can you give your opinion ONLY if you were there at the match?
I tried to do a poll but it wont let you have 15 options one for each player.
So please log in and reply to this post by Friday?
Players needing to vote are:
K2
Karsten
Mahlon
Gaffer
Mucky
The Toe
Donaldinho
Randy
Andy
Alli
Jack
Mohan
Asanga II
Seaman
Chandu
Ta  |

BTW the rest of the stats have been done and the new sheets are on the site.
I just noticed that I forgot to put Mahlons Assist on so will do that when the MoM result comes in.
Just to refresh:
Mucky, first goal assist Mahlon.
Toe, Second goal assist Mucky.
Mucky, 3rd goal assist Toe.
Andy, three teeth to take home  |

excellent stuff Mucky,
a tough one to vote on as no-one played particularly out of their skin...
Marlon had one of his better games, Don was a rock as per usual, Randy made some vital blocks...
if I was to give it to anyone, I'd choose K2 for honour and bravery in the line of Defending, and also for lobbing a four foot Pitch Invader out of the way mid-ruckus |

In my opinion MoM was Randy for a few vital interceptions.
So Randy 1 vote and K2 1 Vote
Come on lads lets hear it from you... |

| AsangaII for providing a solid feel at the back throughout the match which has helped to come back after the 2:0 down. |

| It was good solid performance all round, I thought. I thought Ali did a tremendous job on the right wing but my vote has to go to Mat whose late arrival plugged a big leak in the middle of the pitch that had already allowed 2 opposition goal drip in. |

Mucky,
As Captain on the day I believe that the final decision is down to me and as already discussed with you I awarded the Man of the Match jointly to 4 members of the team. They are
Matthew
Myself
Martin
Mohan
This award was given on an exceptional basis for team spirit for putting the safety of another member of the team above the safety of themselves.
I hope that this ends the discussion
Thanks

Bollocks!
You just called yourself "myself" and then picked anyone who's name starts with an "M". You even have the cheek to reckon we are too daft to see through the scam. |

Lion,
If I was bright enough to come up with a scam like that to get a MoM, I would not be living here, struggling along.
Thanks for the vote of confidence though

Not to be contrary but if memory serves me right we have always voted at the end of the match for MoM by asking each other and seeing who got the most shouts. Captain just got a vote along with everyone else.
Anyway lets see if royally spank the people who charge us too much for our phone bills :P
Rock on Dialog!
Lion: Get your stickers and T shirts ready!!! Yes those ones! |
