| I know it might sound odd considering Rattma scores but I still believe it still is a text-book scene of HOW TO MOVE and COVER THE SPACE; the (fit) guy simply had NO CHOICE but to try himself and he GOT IT RIGHT. There is simply no other way to score, or am I wrong? |

| Nah your right. If you are being blocked like that unless you are really fast a shot from distance is the only option other than passing and moving. |

It was a good piece of defending Lion except for me WALKING back from the half way line!!! Shout at me if you see me doing that again.
Impossible to defend against a great shot like that, I don't think anyone expected him to score from there. Get his number so we can cripple him if we play them again.

Walking?!?!? I thought you were sprinting.
Nic does brilliantly, holding the attacker up until the cavalry arrives. Sadly the cavalry (aka Midfield) are stood with their thumbs up their horse's arses.
Not to point fingers, but the gap between the midfield and what was left of the defence seems to be getting longer rather than shortening. Chandu slows to a crawl (even K2's out-running him), and I think that's Anil carefully considering a forty-yard dash before finally deciding to hold onto his reserves instead...
Nevertheless, it's all academic. A fantastic shot, that even Asanga couldn't manage to keep out. |

With 12 guys only (11 after Mahlons foul) I think we did well to restict them to 2 goals in the game. They were by far the fastest team I can remember playing.
Well done bhoys at the back.
Get fit Matt... we need you back mate  |
