Lads,
Now I appreciate all the work Jack has been doing on improving our silky passing skills or lack of them and I can see improvement in some players (the ones who attend!) but...
As well as skills work and set piece work I feel a few of us need a serious fitness regime. Not just Monday night training and then on the sponsors amber necter till Saturday... recover on Sunday and back to training on Monday.
If we are to improve and be a faster fitter team being at the BHC on Monday nights will be great for one touch two touch footie as well as a hell of a workout but shouldn't we do something midweek? I know some do but an organised effort might help reduce he fatige second half?
So a wee poll: |

BTW My idea would be of a solid one hour jog around the Racecourse track.
NO FOOTBALL in sight!
Just a suggestion... |

Well said Mucky. I for one was feeling the pain in the second half. It would be good to train as a unit as it always helps to get up and at it.
1/2hour of circuit training would help alot. If you can set something up I will come down. |

| I've been harping on about fitness for god knows how long, and suggested a second night a week at the last meeting, a suggestion which sadly fell on deaf ears. I would definitely be up for it!!! |

| I am not sure that everybody knows about the Wednesday Cosmos Kickaround at the race-course Reid Avenue. That seems to me the most uncomplicated way to squeeze in another workout in midweek since we don't have to organize it. Seen there this week: Mucky and Chandu. It's great for (defensive) fitness and skills practice, just pick one of the Nigerian Superfits to man-mark. That is' of course, only if you don't get an allergic reaction when you have to do defensive work... |
