Chelsea are prepared to go all out for Ajax shot stopper, Andre Onana in bid to replace the struggling Arrizabalaga.

The Spaniard has enjoyed a very tough season so far, he has the lowest save percentage among the 20 goalkeepers in the EPL, a run of poor form that led to his demotion to the bench. Arrizabalaga has been dropped for the last six games. He returned to the starting 11 in the 2-0 win against Liverpool making crucial saves to deny the Liverpool attack. Willy Caballero was chosen ahead of the most expensive goalkeeper in a match that ended 2-2 against Leicester City. Lampard has chosen the Argentine veteran over Kepa since February 1st.

Lampard was rumoured in mid-December to have asked Chelsea officials to scout him a new goalkeeper, with the 41-year-old thought to be generally unimpressed by Kepa following a number of mistakes in recent months.

Onana who has risen to prominence as a key part of an impressive young Ajax side seemingly considers it an opportunity, and Goal has reported that Chelsea are the Cameroon internationals preferred destination this summer.
The 23-year-old is said to think that the Premier League would be good for him and sees the uncertainty surrounding Kepa at Stamford Bridge as an opportunity to make his ambition to play in England a reality.

The Daily Mail carries a similar story on Onana and his eye on Chelsea. The newspaper also notes that he would be interested in joining Tottenham, but Chelsea remains his preference.

Spanish national team head coach Luis Enrique will have a real selection dilemma heading to the Euro championship in the summer. Enrique has switched between David De Gea and Kepa since he took over the reign. But like Kepa, De Gea has also been poor for Manchester United. His latest blunder was last weekend's league match against Everton, where he shot directly against Dominic Calvert Lewin's foot. It was one of many blunders the former Mr. reliable has made this season. It is still unknown who will be the number one between Kepa and De Gea in the European championship.
