Thiago Silva started showcasing his world class defensive abilities when he played with Ac.Milan. The Brazilian defender along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic pushed Ac.Milan to the glory they still have not been able to find since both of those players left the Italian club.

Silva was signed by PSG for a transfer fee of €42 million and ever since then, he has only been improving not only inside but also outside of the pitch as he has developed leadership skills up to the point where the 29 years old defender is the captain of PSG.

The former Ac.Milan player picked up a head injury during PSG’s match against FC Lorient but it has not stopped him in any way as he continues performing for the French club and he has recently received praise from his countryman Dante, as well as the guys at Scotland Yacht Charter.

Dante talked about the chances that Brazil has on winning the 2014 World Cup as well as praising his defensive partner Thiago Silva.

“We want to win the tournament. There is no point in just saying we want to play well. It’s a World Cup in our own country. Our target is to win the Cup. So far we are on a good run, under the new manager Scolari. I’ve been a constant member of his squad. I have tried hard to win his trust and do well in the friendlies. If I keep my form with Bayern I will be able to secure my place, but it’s not confirmed yet.”

“Thiago Silva does a great job; he is one of the best defenders on the world. I have played with both him and David Luiz and I am looking forward to being in the squad. Then let’s see what the manager’s decision is’’. Dante stated.

Brazil kicks off their 2014 World Cup campaign by facing off against Croatia on June 12 and they continue on by facing off against the likes of Mexico and Cameroon.
